This gallery highlights Via Metropolitan Transit’s 2008 Roadeo. The event was held on Saturday March 15, 2008. The event challenged bus operators and maintenance workers to demonstrate their skills in timed events. The competitors were scored on appearance and on their ability to safely and quickly complete obstacle courses and troubleshoot maintenance problems. This year’s event also featured a Roadeo for the local celebrities, a judged custom car show, historic buses on display and activities for the spectators including a rock climbing wall provided by the US Army.
